Sebastian Hafner studies Natural Resource Management at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences Vienna (BOKU) and Spatial Sciences at the University of Vienna. He currently works for Thomas Romm´s architectural office „forschen planen bauen“ where his focus lays on the reuse of excavated soil material at large construction sites for the production of substrates in landscape planning. The concept was developed together with the Institute of Soil Bioengineering and Landscape Construction (IBLB) at BOKU Vienna and recently disseminated in the context oft the research project „Biotope City – Construction Manual for the Green City of the Future“.
He is also part of the collective Club Express.
