The rapid urbanization and digitalization of our living environments increasingly alienates us from nature, thereby impairing our physical, mental, and emotional well-being. The association “heilende Stadt e.V.” is establishing a model project called the Healing Garden Hamburg in the Altona People’s Park, focusing on nurturing the relationship between nature and humans – as a physical-sensory experience, ‘holistic’ (from the Greek ‘holos’ = whole) with a new “nature cyclical” mindset.
Dipl.Ing. Norbert Nähr is the board member of the “heilende Stadt e.V.” association. He studied urban planning and city development at the TU Hamburg-Harburg, has been running the communication office SUPERURBAN for 22 years, completed training as a “Nature Cyclical Process Facilitator” (transformation in natura approach) at the uma-institute in Wendland, worked for many years as a Kung Fu instructor, and has been leading the development of the Healing Garden Hamburg since 2020.
